How Flikgear rates refurbished laptops
Every Flikgear laptop is inspected and assigned a condition grade before it is listed.
The condition grade describes the laptop's cosmetic appearance only. It does not determine the battery health, hardware performance or warranty duration.
Battery health, warranty duration and battery warranty coverage are shown separately on every product listing.

Battery health: no mystery percentages
Battery health is separate from cosmetic condition. A laptop can look almost new and have a more heavily used battery - or show visible cosmetic wear while still having excellent battery health.
That is why Flikgear displays the available battery-health information for each device wherever possible.
What the battery percentage means
- 90–100% - Like-new battery condition: The battery retains almost all of its original capacity and should generally perform similarly to a new battery of the same model.
- 80–89% - Excellent: Considered excellent battery condition for a refurbished laptop. Suitable for regular mobile use, depending on the laptop model and workload.
- 70–79% - Good: A healthy, usable battery for everyday work, study and browsing. Runtime will be lower than when the laptop was new.
- 60–69% - Usable: Still suitable for many users, although you may experience less than three hours of battery life depending on the model, brightness, applications and workload.
- 50–59% - Reduced capacity: The battery may still provide approximately two hours of use for lighter activities such as browsing, document work or student tasks. Heavier applications may reduce runtime further.
A useful thing to know
Battery health measures how much charging capacity remains compared with when the battery was new. It is not a guaranteed number of operating hours.
Actual battery life depends on factors such as:

- Screen brightness
- Applications being used
- Video calls or streaming
- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth usage
- Power and performance settings
