We check the parts that matter most in real daily use: battery, display, keyboard, trackpad, ports, wireless connectivity, performance, storage, thermals and software. No mystery stock. What the 45-step check covers
Every Flikgear laptop is tested across 6 critical areas before it reaches you. Condition grade mainly refers to cosmetic appearance. Functionality is tested separately.

Condition grade vs functionality
Condition grade mainly describes cosmetic appearance. A Good Refurbished laptop may show more visible signs of use than an Excellent Refurbished laptop, but it still goes through the same functional checks.
Open Box / Like New
Minimal to no visible signs of use. Usually close to new in appearance. Fully tested and ready to use.
Excellent Refurbished
Very light signs of use only. Minor cosmetic marks may be present, but the laptop looks clean and well cared for.
Good Refurbished
Visible but acceptable signs of use, such as small scratches, light marks or normal wear. Fully functional unless otherwise stated.
Fair Refurbished
Clearer cosmetic wear, but still tested for core functionality. Best for buyers who care more about value than appearance.

Are refurbished laptops reliable?
Yes, refurbished laptops can be reliable when they are properly tested, cleaned and honestly listed. The important difference is the process. Flikgear checks every laptop across 45 steps before listing it for sale.
Does refurbished mean the laptop has been repaired?
Not always. Some refurbished laptops may have had parts replaced, while others are simply cleaned, tested, reset and prepared for resale. The product page should state important condition notes where relevant.
Is condition grade about performance or appearance?
Mostly appearance. Condition grade tells you how the laptop looks cosmetically. Functionality is tested separately through the quality check.
Do all laptops have the same battery health?
No. Battery health varies by unit. Where battery health is available and relevant, we show it or include notes on the product page.
What if a port or feature is not available on my model?
Some checks only apply if the laptop has that feature. For example, not every laptop has HDMI, touchscreen, fingerprint login, dedicated graphics or an SD card slot. We test what applies to the specific model.
Do you use real photos?
Yes, the goal is to use real photos of the exact unit wherever possible, especially for cosmetic condition and included accessories.
What warranty do I get?
